i tried everything i can think of to get control of the wall assembly hatch pattern in floor plan view.. how do i do it?

WHAT DO U MEAN BY GET CONTROL OF IT?? IF YOUR WANTING TO MOVE OR ROTATE IT MAKE IT A MODEL PATTERN

i mean make the wall assembly show the hatch patterns i choose.. look at the image i posted and see all the attemps i am making to try and change the hatch pattern..

In the screenshot you show, you are setting a pattern for the wall in coarse views. This is not a material setting. To set hatch aptterns for materials, you need to edit the wall definition and set it ther. Wall material hatch patterns do not show in coarse views.
