I'm doing my house renovation drawings on Revit to try and learn the program while I get my permit drawings done. After a lot of painful learning I got the existing model done, and am able to start putting views into sheets, but is there a way to show my new wall layouts on the sheets without altering the model? I mean, If I take a wall and move it now when I have the view on the sheet, it goes back to the original floor plans and moves and alters everything that I originally did on the master floor plan. I want all of the original to stay the same (so I can use it for other views), and I just want to take my views and show the things on them I want to move - also want to use this to plan out the new space my trial and error moving walls around. Essentially I just want it to be lines that I can move around and not the house model itself that I alter when I moves walls and stuff. Any help is much appreciated. THank you!
