I have not come across an answer in any of the forums I have been too, so I thought I would just ask. Most likely this is not doable, but I would like some confirmation to that fact from any of you who may know. I use Revit Structure and reference in either 2D cad files or Revit models from architects as backgrounds. In either case I appreciate the ability to pin them once placed so I do not move them however I am missing some old autocad features that went along with locking a "layer" or an entity. Is there something I am missing? Can you in fact make an element within revit be visible but not selectable? Thanks!
