My firm uses a custom elevation detail symbol which calls out a specified detail, my problem is that when I rotate the symbol based on the elevation location on a structural plan the text rotates along with the symbol. So when the symbol is rotated 180 degrees the text appears upside down. Is it possible to have the text remain oriented correctly while the symbol can be rotated?

Family Properties-->Category & Parameters-->Keep Text Readable to ON. BTW, why aren't you using true elevations instead of symbols?
