Is there any way that the linked models can be sent to the backgroud? I have some consultant models in halftone, but they always appear on top of mine, gray out my wall lines, very annoying. And you can't print the lines as "merge" in PDF neither.

If they also have walls in the same place, you can turn their walls off.  You can control every item in their file.

Only CAD files can be sent to back, reason is that your Revit model is a 3D model, you can't really send to back unless you move the model physically back.

you can control visibility for each element in your model through visibility/graphics, like WWHub said you can turn your walls off, or you can set them to be transparent.

thanks for your input, wwhub and eldados, see attached image.

I can just add a line on top of the existing gray line too, just it's not that revit-ish. But logically, new construction should appear on top of existing; and objects in my model should be on top others. and when other consultants link my models, their objects should be on top / heavier than mine.

drafting objects can be sent to front or back, such as regions and lines.

ONE OTHER THING, YOU CAN'T SET LINK MODEL TRANSPARENT, UNLESS IT'S BY LINK VIEW. DOUBLE WORK.
