Yesterday my professor tried to show me how to make section cuts appear in 3d, but could not do so because in 2010 the "orient view to" command seems to have been removed. I have spent half an hour searching the forums, blogs, and help file, and have not been able to find any information... did they remove this feature completely?

For every good thing they've done in 2010 there is probably at least one bad thing!

What the hell is Orient to View doing on the steering wheel?  Why can't I access it through the view ribbon?  It looks like I'll have to set up another keyboard shortcut.

Greetings.

Further to this thread, AFTER I have used the 'orient to view' option, is there any way to change the Section Box back to a previous size?  I was hoping that I could associate the section box to a scope box but this is not an option.

If I uncheck the section box then re-check it, the secion box returns to the extent of the entire model/toposurface.

this is a great command (where ever it is located) but I would like to maintain a section box that shows the building model (and not the entire toposurface), orient to a view, when necessary ... and then return to my previous section box.
