I have imported a car as a family to Revit. When I render the 3D scene the car is white, although there is a colour shown on the file image. Any help would be appreciated.Regards John

Hi,  I got it from this site RevitCity, so not sure of the original file type or software that created it.  The movie suggested was very informative - thank you.  Regards John

You should check 2 things for this question

1) sometimes, the object which you download from Revitcity, is not complete with material application. People miss to do that when that make the object and then they realise it after using it in project.

so, Open the family of Car, pick the object(body) which doesn't show the color-> go to property-> click the small square next to the Material (under Material & Finishes)-> Pick the material-> Ok.

Save this and use it...

2) after checking this, load/reload in project. check the object's material. If it still doesn't show the color, chenge the material and try.

Basically... this whole thing is about material & properties....

Try it... I hope it works... because I faced the same problem for many downloaded objects from Revit city..
