Hello, I am working on a project, where I have to make a schedule per every appartment. And I need wall area as m2. (basically material takeoff, which gives me the result aswell) I would like to do schedule every wall area per room, like north wall, south wall, east . . . etc. I have read lots of threads, but havent found anything, what would help me. Im usin revit 2009. (Maybe revit 2010 is easier to make schedules?) Once again, the problem would be. I need to schedule N,S,E,W walls material area per room. Is it possible to do? (I know that my thread is little bit confusing, but I didnt know how to put it in better words) I would appreciate for any help. Thank you

Sorry you can't do this. Walls usually span more than one room and have two faces so it is really hard to code in how to do this.

But what about the wall overall area in one room? I know that some walls are longer than the room and so on. Or if I would use a material takeoff. Is it somehow possible to assign a parameter for them or tag, that I could count in the( all the walls materials and areas in the room) schedule?

This kind of question has been discussed many times before. You may find some useful ideas if you search the forums. Start by looking at the similar threads (SEE BELOW \/ ) that are always posted with any threads. And when you open those threads, look at their similar threads.... You can also search the forums ... .
