Hi all.I'm setting up a project template with associated titleblocks for a client that has specific sheet naming and title block info. standards. I've managed to set up all the appropriate Project Information and Drawing Sheet parameters, and have been successful (!!) with how they perform on my cover sheets and title blocks. Here is my question: Is there a way to delete, or at least hide, many of the "stock" drawing sheet parameters and project info. parameters which I don't use?The extraneous fields are easy to confuse with usable fields; and I would like the template to be easily usable by many office workers without confusion.Example: I don't need an "Approved By" parameter, nor do I really need a "Sheet Number" parameter in my sheet properties, as i need to follow a different numbering convention, but I can't figure out how (and if) these guys can be removed. While I'm on the topic... is there a way to alter the (sheet) naming parameters? Revit defaults to Sheet Number and Name... but in this template I would like it to reference and organize based on different parameters.I'm semi-savvy with Revit, but not yet very advanced. I'm working in 2009.Thanks much in advance for any advice you may have to offer!Sean

You can change all those things by editing the title block family. Just go into the file and delete the parameters you dont need.

Thanks for the reply pepsiqueen. The parameters I want to delete are not shared parameters used by the title block, but the Drawing Sheet Identity Data defaults automatically generated by Revit, which do not list in the add/edit/delete shared parameters dialog... parameters such as: Approved By, Designed By, Checked By, etc. My understanding is you can't remove these built-in parameters. I am able to ADD extra parameters to the Drawing Sheet family, but I have not found any ways to remove those that are automatically provided. peso

pepsiqueen, Perhaps you have found something we don't know about. As far as I know, the stock project /sheet parameters can not be altered, you can onlt create new ones. This is also the case with standard shared parameters in some families.
