Hello, I'm having an issue in my ceiling views where walls that don't go up to the ceiling still cut the ceiling grid and ceiling hosted objects such as lights. I've attached an example screenshot of a ceiling plan with a 9' drop ceiling and three 2'x4' lights hosted in that ceiling. Beneath it are three 7' 6" walls representing an open top office. You can see around the top most light that even though the ceiling and light are at 9' the 7' 6" wall cuts through the light and ceiling grid as though it penetrated the ceiling. Are there any settings I can change to fix this? Thank you.

I think it's to do with your view depth - set the cut plane to be above the walls.

Cut a section and look at this... Your walls do go through the ceiling

Thank you both for your responses. WWHub, I checked the section earlier after thinking the same thing you are and the wall isn't cutting the ceiling. I've attached the section to this post. In it the large gray surface is the north wall that appears to be cutting through the grid and light in the ceiling plan. Above it you can see the ceiling and the box light affixed to it. I've made the west office wall a little taller so it can be seen as well, in the upper right of the north wall. I had also thought of just raising the clip plane, but ran into an issue. All of the floors in this building have multiple ceiling heights, some as low as 7'-6". Since my clip plane can't be above the lowest ceiling it does me no good for walls that are 7'-6" and higher but still don't touch the ceiling. The clip plane would have been a nice fix because if I show the floor plan as an underlay the cutting does not occur. =/ Thanks again.

Oops - when I say clip plane above I actually mean cut plane.

Your sure it is that wall?... C heck by having window tiled - plan and section then pick the wall in plan. It will be red in every view. You are sure you are not cutting through the wall? - You do know about plan regions ? I've not used those on ceiling plans but they should work.

Your cut plane is probably going threw the wall causeing it to show in the reflected ceiling plan. Make sure the cut plane is set above 7'6"
