So I added these footings using the wall foundation tool and it worked great...but these particular walls have gypsum on the inside, and when I unlocked the gypsum to pull it up above the finish floor things got confused and it made a double footing. Has anyone else seen this problem, or is it generally more reliable to use the foundation slab tool? The wall foundation was almost too easy too use...

I'm going through the exact same problem, even though I'm using Revit 2015! Is there still no solution?
Greetings!

I didn't remember that post from 2009 or even the similar post here that I responded to in 2012. I re-tested it and it still does not function correctly so I would still do what I recommended in that other post. Split the wall.

Thank you WWHub, I'm using a structural wall family with 0.60m of thickness, for the moment, which is working fine. If this brings issues by the time I start the rebar process, I'll use your method, which is more true to the categories. Thanks!
