I created a total cost parameter which multiplies the Area SF by lbs/sq ft and then $/lb (I went to RS Means for the lbs/sq ft and the $/lb) This is all based on 20 ga galv. stl. So now I am looking into look up tables and csv files so I can provide total cost based on different duct gauges. Am I heading in the right direction w/ look up tables? Or should I have formulas where IF duct length is greater than X feet then use this duct gauge factors. On a similar note my schedule shows each duct size as a single entry, is there a way to combine all similar duct sizes. thanks, gary
