Similar to a callout tag or a section cut is tied to their drawings, I want a tag (circle with a horizontal line, detail number on top, sheet number on bottom) tied to a drafting view detail.  Can someone let me know if this is possible and how to do it? thank you for your help. Basically I need something like the Callout tag (then reference my view) but I dont want all the callout box that goes along with the reference tag

You can overide the properties of the callout boundary and leader line in object styles.  If you make them white they become invisible.

overriding the leader lines to be white affects all callout tags though. I was hoping that after I duplicated the default callout tag, renamed it detail tag, I could go into type properties and select no leader lines or callout box.  Is that not possible?

Finally found a decent workaround for now... Select the callout, right click, override graphics in view, by element, change line wt to 1 and color to white.

Use a very-very small call-out bubble.  One that basically is part of the bubble line.
