I am trying to create some 2D tags that need to show up in the floor plan and the ceiling plan. I am currently inserting the tags at an offset between 6' and 7' and adjusting the cut planes of the views accordingly. I think there should be a way though to make a tag and have it show up in the same location on the floor and ceiling plan. I am using symbol lines to make the shape of the tag. There is a different shape for the floor plan and the ceiling plan. I tried creating a second reference plan and placing the ceiling tag on that plane. All I end up with is both tags on both planes. Thanks for your help

Tags are 2D elements. 2D elements are all view dependent and the element has to be in the view (or an invisible part of the family has to be cut by the view) in order to be tagged.
