i have some projects that when placing a leader or keynote i can see where it is being placed and adjust placement visualy.  others i cant see placement until after i place them a type in my next od select my keynote.  I would prefer to have it the first way i have described.  I am guessing i may have switched something off but do not kow what it could be. 

not really a big issue just a little annoying.
