Hi all.

Firstly I wanted to say I'm new here and new to Revit. So far it seems very cool and I'm having a great time learning this but I'm having a bit of a problem. I am practising my skills by attempting to model the apartment complex I live in. The building is built on a slope (2 maybe 3 degrees) so the slabs are elevated 2 feet every 20 feet. Elevating the slabs isn't really my issue. Joining them together is my question. How can I join the slabs with a 2 foot elevation from each other?

I sketched what I wanted to the end result to look like. with the vertical 2 foot section of concrete. I also included a pic of where I am at with this problem in Revi. I'm using Revit Architecture 2010 student license btw.

Should I actually draw a vertical 2 foot section and then use Join Geometry on both slabs? Can I create a custom wall that has the concrete in it and the plywood/drywall layered over it? This elevation will be repeated about 5 times in the model.

Create a wall with the same material of the slab then use the "Join Geometry" tool, the other wall (in top) "Modify" the "Gypsum" UNLOCK that layer then you can Stretch that like you can see in the images....
