Hi there, I've been visiting this forum for a while now, but this is the first time I post anything here. I have started learning Revit a few months ago (self-teaching), and now I can say that I feel comfortable with it although I still have lots of issues that I'm trying to figure out. I'm using it mainly for Conceptual drawings and presentations, especially the 3D features, and I love it One of the issues that I'm trying to figure out is how to create crown moldings and chair rails, etc... on the walls? do we do them separately? or do they have to come along with the wall type? Here's a sample of what I've done recently. This is the project where I'm trying to add the crown molding. Thanks all for this great website

You could use wall sweeps but for these but I would suggest in-place sweeps. One sweep to a room - the path around all four walls. Wall sweeps would move with the walls but so could in-place if you lock yor path to the wall face.
