I have a single slope roof... back to front, with the corners cut off at 45's. I still need gutters on the sloped portions of the roof, but Revit's gutter tool doesnt seem to work on sloped portions. What is the best method to get a gutter on te sloped portions of the attached image. I could remove the front gutter and model the whole thing so the corners look nice, but is their a better way? The red lines indicate where I need gutters on the attached image.

I don't have Revit here right now to test but you can use a "Create-In-Place" with the solid sweep and with that gutter profile to create that IF you really can't do that by "host Sweep".....

Do a in-place model with a sweep. And use "pick 3D Edges."

On this point also, how can you join the sloping gutter with a gutter placed on a horizontal plane? In this situation the gutter on the cut off corner meets the gutter on a flat plane but i cannot create a sweep for he entire thing in one go?

Easier solution - Edit your gutter profile and re-name then re-assign it to fascia... Now it can be placed on any edge... just will not schedule right probably.

I have reassigned to fascia so it can be put on any surface. But it still doesnt want to join at the corner. Any suggestions?

Great tip on the Fascia vs Gutter. Perhaps create a seperate corner piece family?
