I am trying to create a graphical column schedule that will show base plate size, anchor bolt size, and anchor bolt embed at the bottom. I can get it to work fine on the spreadsheet style schedules using a text shared parameter. However, I can't find a way to get any new fields to show up on the graphical column schedule. Is it possible to have other fields show or am I limited to what Revit provides with graphical column schedules?

Hey buddy, For things to appear in the column schedule I think they must be column parameters. If you are fine adding the parameters as text, I think I have a solution, ayybe; I get backwards a bit with the parameters. But I think that you need to is: 1. Edit the column family and add "shared parameters" through the manage tab (RST2010?) for the attributes you want. 2. Then add those "shared parameters" a. Click the shared parameter radial button b. Select the shared parameter file you added the parameters (select button) c. I usually group under other when testing crap out d. Choose length for "Type of Parameter" (usually, differs possibly) 3. "Shared parameters can be shared by multiple projects and families, exported to ODBC, and appear in schedules and tags" THIS IS MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT HELPING OUT ON THIS FORUM. LET ME KNOW IF THIS WORKED FOR YOU.

Thanks for the reply, your solution does work, but not the way I need it to. I had already made those shared parameters within my column family as text. But the parameter fields only seem to apply to regular schedules and not the graphical one. I'm thinking this is simply a limitation of Revit right now. My "fix" is to make a seperate schedule that will contain the base plate/anchor bolt info from the shared parameters I made.

I am going to mess with it too, so I will keep you updated with my findings. I think in the graphical schedule Tags are used to show that information. We may need to reference those parameters via annotation tags by modifying the tag family and adding those shared parameters as the label...make sense?
