Hi I am using Revit 2010. I have a stone barn in existing phase. Because it is very small I wish to have the 4" of wall insulation on the outside. If I add 4" of insulation to the wall properties it shows up in existing phase. If I duplicate the wall and make a new wall with insulation then surely I have demolished the old wall and put in a new wall with insulation. Any ides or thoughts most welcome. Mark

Make a new wall that is just the insulation and finish... place it beside the existing and use the join geometry tool. All doors and windows will now cut both walls and one will be in each phase.
