Hello All. I'm working in Revit2010, fyi. I've created a 3-sided table booth (furniture) family that I've imported in to my project. It works well in plan and elevation, but when I try and cut a section through it, all I'm getting is what looks to be a masking region in the profile of the table. I've tried checking the visibility settings, but all options are selected. (FYI, I created the table through a system of sweeps) Any ideas what the problem is? I've attached images of both the 3D image of the furniture family as well as the interior elevation (as it currently stands). The booths are shown on the far right and left of the elevation. This is an interior elevation view, which cuts through the two booths. Thanks for your help in advance! Mark

First - search your help for cuttable.... I don't believe furniture is - that is why you only see the end view.

Evidently furniture is non-cuttable. Not sure why that is, but here's the thread I refered to (that I couldn't seem to find last night for some reason...) http://revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=18257 I grouped my booth, copied and pasted it into a casework family. Whereas I could have created a new subcategory, that seems like too much needless work. Thanks for the help. Hope this helps someone else out

BTW, is it possible to CHANGE a family type in Revit2010 (from furniture to something else, per se), or do you have to copy and paste out your work into another family template?
