Why don't you make the family as a 2-1/2 D... I doubt you need this as a full 3D family and the CAD files should get you there.

yes erland, that may be the one! is that a Revit Family? if so, is it parametric? if so, where may I find it? you are good man! you may be steps away from being my hero!!! and that's huge  Thanks for the response, mate. dvb

Sorry, I forgot to tell you that this is a Generic model ceiling based, so it means that you must have created a ceiling before you load this one and then place it being in a ceiling plan view.....

Yeah Alabaster, but HDD doesn't work on friday, I do...and Typhoon only works at home...LOL....

Erl, WRONG, 7 hours at office monday to friday and more 5, 6 or 7 hours at home every day (weekends included LOL)....
