Hi All, I am preparing a feasibility/cost estimation for a studio project at school. I have to prove that the site I'm working on requires re-zoning in order to meet the financial requirements of my fictitious client. I am working in Excel on a pro forma. Here I import floor square footages and then calculate estimated costs. The Excel pro forma is all set up, it does all of the cost estimations and then predicts financial results based on sets of equations. What I want to do is create a massing of my future building in revit and get the revit file to update my floor area and any other values i can relate (in the massing) to the excel file. How can I link these two things? A tutorial or step-by-step guide would be really appreciated. It would be interesting also to investigate if an excel file could drive my massing. Is this possible? Thanks everyone!

If you can get a copy of the subripstion update that was release a few days ago, it has a excel manager that can produce buildings based off your excel sheet. Npw I havent had time to play with it yet to see exactly how it works. But from what I understand that should be the first place you should look into. If anyone know wheres the readme file or some tutorials on this are please let me know.
