I need to show room area in metric and imperial. Project units just affect the primary units (metric in this case). I have tried editing the tag family but can't see any options? I also want to change the imperial symbol to ft^2 from SF.

Found it, I had been into edit label but missed the only active icon 'edit parameters unit format'
