I HAVE A SECTION VIEW AND I NEED TO DIM THE RAIL SPACING, BUT THE DIM TOOL WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO SELECT THE RAILING. IS THERE ANY WAT TO DIM A SECTION OF RAILING FROM A SIDE VIEW OR GET THE DIM TOOL TO PICK THE IDIVIDUAL RAILS.

From a section view, you need to start with the parallel surface first then tab select the point on the railing you want to dimension to. Side views ... you have to dimension at a start/end post.
