This is movie, screen captured from a building modeled in revit architecture, structure and MEP that was converted into a plug and play interactive virtual tour. Checkout autodesk labs for Project Newport for the most innovative realtime virtual tour. For stuff more familiar to gamers you can export revit models to 3ds max then import them into the Crytek/Sandbox level editor. I got it free when i purchased Crysis for PC

Have to pay to use crytek comercially. Be interesting to see how newport deals with the complexity/speed issue We did a fair bit of work to reduce polygon count. The bow trusses had over a million polygons a piece. Both the inside and the outside of each chord is modelled in revit. We remade those to get the polygon count down and the frame rate up. We also stripped out all the hidden structure and any hidden architectural and MEP modelling. You only want to deal with the skin of the building, structure, MEP stuff etc to keep the speed up when moving around. Also used ambient occlusion to enhance the look without slowing the frame rate overly.
