Currently my office has a database of CAD details. Instead of just linking to the CAD file, what is a good way of saving the Details in a revit format that integrates well with putting them on Sheets. I looked at saving them as drafting views but that did not work since they are no longer linked to the master file. I need it so that if the Master detail file gets changed it will update in all the locations on sheets that it exists. Or should I just continue to keep them in CAD format and Linking them to the revit project?

Get your details into REVIT. To clean up CAD drawings, check out this thread: http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=17194
