I have many years of experience on autocad but am now unemployed. I am wanting to learn revit to make myself more employable. =) Can any of you give me some recommendations where to start? I have 0 (zero) experience and have no idea where to start. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Melissa

Hi and Welcome to Revit World.... Read the Tutorials from Autodesk, here you have the link: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=5810048&linkID=9243097 choose the version you have and you can download the tutorials, also, when you have doubts the HELP menu is very helpful too... Any question you can't get in the tutorials or in the HELP menu you can put here in the forum and someone gonna give you a hand... Good Luck.

If you have a community college that has Revit classes, I think that is a good way to start. Depending on your state, you can get funding through unemployment offices to pay for the classes. Plus, a school (.edu) email address will get you access to 13 month license of almost all autodesk products....autodesk is also offering some free training and software for 'displaced' workers through their Autodesk Assistance Program, check it out here http://students8.autodesk.com/?nd=assistance_home. good luck..
