Create that in-place or in a generic model family, Solid by extrusion.....

how to draw the cone? I couldnt do it with Solid Revolve.. It just doesnt work T.T

no.. i was using "Solid Revolve" under Modelling.. which command did u use?

i am in the conceptual mass enviroment. one is a circle revolved around center axis and the other is a triangle revolved on the adjacent axis are you on revit 2010 or 2009?

i'm using revit 2009.. i know how to create a 3D circle w/ solid revolve but I couldnt get a cone..>.<

As alabaster told you, create the cone with Solid Revolve, but I did it as a Generic Model Face Based family, so you can place them on the sphere....
