If I have two reference planes and I put a dimension between them, how do I specify which will move when that dimension value is changed by a parameter. The same reference plane between a pair will move if I add a dimension using the design bar and how to switch which is the question. If I add a dimension by clicking the plane I want to move and making the temporary dimensions that appear permanent, and use the dimension created then that plane will be moved. Having to do this little routine with the temporary dimensions is irritating and it makes me sure there is a better way to specify what is moved by the dimension. Making the planes strong, weak, or not references makes no difference. Cheers!

It goes by order of creation. The reference plane created second will always move.

Hey Mr. Spot! Thats a pretty interesting little tid bit. My little trick with using the temporary dimension made permanent overrides the creation order though. Is there a better way to specify after the two are made which will move without having to delete one and replace it (things attached to it would be fuggled). Cheers!

Not really, other than setup your framework before you model anything. Sounds like the temp dimension options seems like a pretty good solution.
