Hi,

I am manually picking points along an underlayed CAD file. At the sharp turns in the site, Revit is not following the points that I have plotted and creating plateaus where they do not join (see attached image-the areas I am talking about are in red). How can I get these to connect or is there a setting that needs to be changed to allow them to connect properly?

 Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

REVIT is not meant to do Civil work.... The tools are really just not there.

Topo drawings should be CAD - period.  Any views that need to show the site as contours should use a linked cad file to do this.  But Revit will do a very nice job of modeling the topography for 3D views ...point elevations and for you to show the topgraphy against the structure in sections and elevations.

The best way to do your Revit site model is to have or create a CAD dWG with contours as 3D polylinesset at the proper elevcation and you import this CAD DWG to create your model.
