Hello fellow revit users - I've been wasting precious billable time to figure out how to input number and text into a schedule field. I am currently running revit 2009 and have a window schedule thats making me want punch my monitor. I have a calculated field to figure window area % (window area / wall area) however some windows on the schedule are exterior and we do not need to calculate thier percentage - in those areas I would really like to put NA within the columns, however being that they are involved in the calculated field I cannot seem to change anything. I attempted some conditional statments (=IF) etc but could not get NA to occur if the window are was <0 . Any help is much apprecitated thanks. eddie loftus

As you have found out, fields in Revit's schedules are limited to their formal. Text can not go in number fields...etc. You could haave two schedules on the sheet placed one above the other with one not having headers. Obviously, this column would be a different field for the filtered schedule.
