Can anybody help me with this. i have 2curved roofs at the same level and of the same size and i want to join then so that they go around a corner! when i try and use the join geometry command it says Part of the roof to be joined misses the target face. ive attatched an image if anyone can assist me with it.

To use the Join Geometry tool the objects must intersected, i think i need glasses to see that image OR is my graphic card here in the job but to create that kind of Roof i think i create that in one piece. Use the "Create-In-Place" in the category "Roof" and create a "Solid Revolve" with ONLY the angle you have that, I think it's a 90 Degres??, then before you finish use a "Void Extrusion" in plan view, to CUT between this 2 roofs, Use the "Cut Geometry" tool to cut that Void to the solid, go to the properties, give a parameter to "Material" and DONE....

The problem is the image is very dark, give a feedback if work....

Create-In-Place   <--- i cannot seem to find this. im using 2010 btw. the only options are roof by extrusion, footprint and face!!

In 2010 the Create in place is in "Home>Component>Model in Place".....
