I WISH WE HAD THE ABILITY TO UNDERLAY SHEETS UNDER EACH OTHER, SO THAT WE COULD MAINTAIN CONSISTENCY FOR LOCATION OF THINGS.  EVEN BETTER YET, IF YOU COULD SET ONE PLAN LOCATION AS THE PRIMARY, AND OTHER PLANS OF SAME SCALE WOULD INTELLIGENTLY SNAP TO IT.

a) Turn caps off please . . . . internet etiquette 101. Not only are you YELLING AT US it's hard to read.

b) Here's your answer > http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=4627

Which is > Add reference lines in the title block family and align the view to the reference lines on the sheet.

c) Learn to search before asking. I searched here at revitcity for 'sheet alignment' and found the above thread in 2 seconds.

The lack of precise view positioning has bothered me since I started using Revit. The reference lines in the title block helps a bit, but the thing that always bugged me was that when you move a view on a sheet you can't snap or align to any of the elements in the view or to the view edge itself.

dgcad,

I posted this wishlist entry because no previous wishlist entry has covered this FUNCTIONALITY.  Reference lines aren't functionality.  I'm talking about revit's ability to align project coordinates, similar to two plans on the same sheet at the same scale, you know, the dashed green line?

I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings.

No problemo, I AM FEELINGLESS !
Using all CAPS in an entire message is taboo unless you purposely want to YELL your message.
The lack of snapping to objects in views on a sheet needs work. No argument there.
