I have been asked to estimate how long it would take, in Revit, to create two basic floor plans and two stairway options for a small residential project. The project would only require dimension partition plans. Can anyone tell me a good way of figuring out how to estimate something like this for someone who is still new to Revit? I don't want to underestimate, but I know that in this case Revit would be much faster than AutoCAD.

It all depends on what level you are at in Revit. Three years ago when I was just starting Revit it would probably take me as long or longer than it would have taken me in AutoCAD. Now I might get it done in a matter of a couple of minutes.
Since you are asking the question in the first place, I can assume that your are just starting off in the Revit world. I would do projects like these and give the estimate of time the same as ACAD, then work late or at home on my own time just to make sure I got it done in Revit and learned from the experience.
