Hi I'm trying to edit window's I downloaded. With the attached file I am trying to create different sizes of the same window. I copied the embedded casement window and made swing refernce lines invisible. However, when I try to make different types (sizes) the new fixed window will not change size with it. Probably not explaining myself very well, but if you open the file you will see that when you use the 'types' dialogue box the different types don't show up properly. Help would be much appreciated.

Make sure within the model that you make all the changes to each family type within the type.

Thank you, but that doesn't really answer the question particularly well. Perhaps you didn't check the attached file, which is not one I created, just one I am trying to edit. There is 2 families within a family, and when I make changes to the type, it behaves differently with the different families embedded. I tried to make just changes within the type, but it doesn't work correctly. If someone could tell me what the issues are I would really appreciate it.

OK, I finally figured it out!! In the instance properties of each type, the height & width must be 'associate family parameters' rather than 'family parameters' (the numbers should be greyed out, you pick the small box on the far right). For others trying to figure out what I mean, look at the attached file and note that on the type properties on each embedded families are different, some are greyed out, and some are not. For the windows to change correctly they must all be greyed out.
