I am trying to save a ceiling plan legend out to a seperate library file to be used on future projects. Is it possible to save a legend to a seperate file? When I go to file/save to library/ save views...Legends are not an option to save. Is this because the legend components are project specific components? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

You can copy - paste legends from file to file. Create a minimum project and place the legend(s) in that, then just open that file in the same Revit session and copy paste between the projects. This legend may be something you want in your template file.
