Hi! I'm trying to figure out, like many others has before me, the dealing with door swings in Revit. I noticed that when I export a model to IFC, I can retrieve the door swing there and the informationresides under the parameter "Operation" with the value "Single Swing Left" I had a look in the help file for Revit and under IFC Parameters there's a paramter called Operation. The help file says: The operation of the door, as defined by the current IFC description (for example, single_swing_left or double_door_double_swing). These values are case-insensitive, and underscores are optional. (SINGLE_SWING_LEFT and SingleSwingLeft are the same.) Has anyone any idea how this is meant to be used? Can it be used? Thanks in advance

You probably figured this out a long time ago, Those distinctions are used to describe which is the hinge side and latch side in relation to the inside or outside of the door. This is used for fabrication, as an architect, you will see this called out in submittals. Cheers
