im trtying to teach myself revit and was wondering if there was anybody on here who could assist me with making a gable roof or if anyone can help me out with any websites that mite assist me

I'm assuming you've created a roof by foot print, and have a hip and valley roof in the project. Edit the roof Select the line (eave) where you want the gable.On the options panel uncheck the box that says defines slope.Click finish.

There are several ways to create Gable roof, images of what you really want it will help...
