The thing I am trying to accomplish, is plant symbols for our schematic site plans. These plants have to have a filled in color (RGB 159-171-153) and they have to be scaleable when inserted into a revit drawing... so, to accomplish this I first created a 'Detail Component' family that has a filled region with the correct color and line work to make the plant symbol... then I brought that into a "Planting" family and inserted as a detail component... then I take that family and insert it into yet another "Planting" family in order to get the whole thing to change size inside my revit file... all that works great, but the region fill is a much lighter color than it should be. Is there a reason why a detail component inside of another family would have a half tone to the filled region?
