I am new to revit and I will be working and all of a sudden it will just close without warning.  Any known fixes for this will be greatly appreciated.

 Thanks,

I am having difficulty with central files.  What we are trying to do is a build-out of a previous project we have worked on, how do you take the central file of the shell space and save it as a new file for teh build-out without messing up any information.  We are having trouble with the local files saying that they can no longer find the central file.

Any help will be appreciated,

 Zach

answered the central file question in your other thread--you need to be more specifc about the crashes.  Machine specs, especially.  If you're running less than 3 gigs of ram or so, you're going to be unstable, from what I've gleaned from these forums.   Revit really seems to like windows 7 64 bit machines.  I get about half as many crashes on our office's new machines than the older XP workstations.  XP machines top out at 4gigs of ram, inclusive of video card ram.  So 32 bits is scraping along the bottom these days it seems
