hi outthere, anyone,how do i compress revit file aside from isolating and grouping elements. ? thanks

There is a compress function and audit in your file management. If you mean other than that, grouping is not necessarily a good thing. Be careful with that. You can purge the file of un-wanted families but also be careful with that. Removing views that are not used will also reduce the size. And finally... be very careful in using CAD imports - in both the project and families. There are some good threads here on that subject and AutoDESK U has a good writeup on managing CAD imports.
