So - I am working on an equipment schedule, and the client would like it to have one piece of equipment - a range lets say per line, and the count parameter to number how many are in the project.

 I don't know if this is really obvious and I'm just missing it - but how can I creat a schedule with each type of equipment listed once and the count to cover how many are located within the project.

Open the schedules properties.

Go to the "sorting" tab and sort by type also make sure the "itemize every instance" box is NOT ticked.

This should help.The best way to realy understand schedules is to just try different things try turning the options on and off and see how it effects the schedule, you should work things out pretty quickly.
