Hey all...

I think I found a new way to waste time (besides trolling this website every 30 days according to my profile history Confused ).

I'm curious if anyone here has an active Second Life account and if so, how skilled are you at building objects?

I was thinking about trying a Revit model to create buildings, but it looks like I would have to export to Sketchup, re-build with the Sketchlife plugins within Sketchup, and then import that to Second Life.  If there was a more direct export/import from Revit straight to Second Life, it would be a cool place to display one's work and show it off to clients.

Any thoughts or partakers??

Sketchlife has some nice plugins that can be added to Sketchup.

By the way I understand it, the plugin's API coding relates better with Second Life than the the tools in Sketchup

Though this is not a solve all to importing models into Second Life or does away with Second Life building tools, this tool creates a HUGE advantage to the Second Life Building process via a more discipline specific tool.

Check it out:
