Hi,I'm new to Revit and am working on a project involving the designing of a deck for a backyard makeover. I'm confused as to how to start laying out my design on Revit. Dealing with a BIM program, do I have to create individual deck planks and work from there, or would I work with individual lines in a similar fashion to AutoCAD. Thanks alot. Shamil O.

how about just a floor? set the elevation offsets to get it off the main level, or create its own level... be sure to customize the floor to have the surface cut patterns, surface pattern, and the render graphic that your looking for.
