Hi all,

do roof-tags excist?

want automatically to note the layering of the roof in a tagg

Obviously you did not look in your library because roof tags are there.

No tag can be created that automatically reads what layers are in an element.  If you want that in the tag, you have to build it into parameters and assign labels in the tag to read those.

Ok, thanxs,

imagine a roof with 5 layers,

each layername a label tag thats what you say, and a roof tag with the labels that read the layers, hmmm,I will check it, but it is probably not interactive, and thats what I don't like,

Imagine I change the structure layer form a 6" to 8" wooden beams tructure then a have tot change the label and the roof tag! anoying, But i will try and see what i can do.

p.s. labels cannot read the layer "names"  i assume?
