I have an exploded model for some timber frame construction, however one view is an axon, the other is a perspective, i have model lines connecting the member locations. the axon displays model line style properly but the perspective doesn't, it does have line weights displayed properly. I am having to split the lines in the model and drag the ends of the segments apart to achieve the dashed effect, i was just wondering if there was a setting im missing, see attached views, any thoughts?

split lines... exploded models... this sounds rough!  Confused

can you explain a little better what your end goal is, and why you had to depend on exploding something in Revit?

Have you tried using the 'Linework' tool?

I have found that useful in 3D views to hide lines I did not want to show.  This can also be used to show lines as "Hidden" as well.

Yeah, i did try that and  i've come to the conclusion that aparently line styles don't apply to perspective views because line styles are based on a scale and the perspectives obviously don't carry scales . . . it makes sense, but it could be useful otherwise . . .

Workaround is to draw those connection lines on the actual sheet itself as detail lines...
