So I am trying to recess a masonry wall into the floor slab, but I am unsure of the best way to go about doing this and would really appreciate some guidence.  Currently what I have done so far is created a floor on the interior perimeter of the exterior wall, then I created a floor using the exterior perimeter of the exterior wall. This gave me the recess I was looking for. Next I attached a footing to the floor which used the exterior perimeter of the wall. 

 So this kinda works.... except I get a blck line which seperates the two floors as indicated on the attached picture. How can I merge these two floors together to get rid of the line, or is their another way i should be going about this.

 Im using revit 2010 btw. Thanks for any advice.

In that section view use the "Join Geometry" to join the two floors or use the "linework" tool with "invisible lines" to get rid of that line....
