I tried searching and everything I found was very old. Is there any way to create sloping walls now? You can do sloping columns in RS2010, but I also need to do walls. Thanks

The story is the same, create a mass (blend) then apply wall by face or use the "Create-in-place" to do that, you choose....

Thanks. I was afraid that would be the case. I am not familiar with the apply wall by face approach. Does this only work with curtain walls? or will it also work with a structural wall? How about when two leaning walls intersect, any thoughts on how to get them to miter correctly? Thanks

"I am not familiar with the apply wall by face approach. Does this only work with curtain walls?" - Did you check in the HELP menu? After you create the Mass ( for example: blend) and finish, you have the option to apply "Wall-Floor-Roof and Curtain Sytem By Face", go to wall by face, in the properties you can select what wall you want and pick in the Face(s) you want to create, the walls automatically mitter in the corners, if you have any problem and the walls don't connect right, use the "Create-in-place" in the categoty "WALLS" and use the "VOID" to CUT what you don't need....

I just tried your massing suggestion, with wall by face. That works pretty well. Takes a bit of thought up front to figure out what dimensions and shape the mass needs to be. But otherwise does what I think I need it to do. Thanks very much. It always amazes me how many different ways there are to do things in Revit.

I had never tried using masses for anything before. In fact, I didnt even have the mass palette turned on. Just never understood the use or need for them for structural modeling. Now I know better, and will think about using them for other problem areas. Thanks.
