I'm wanting my footing tag to rotate with the footing componet. I've got alot of 45 degree walls in my project and would like to have the tag rotate 45 degree's along the footing line. I've tried to edit the footing tag family and checked the rotate with componet but nothing happens. Does it simply not work with footing tags? Thanks

I'm working on a project where the strip footings are at several different angles. Apparently Revit has not written the program to rotate the foundation tags as they have for the walls, so I've been using text until this is fixed. If all of you footings are at 45 degrees, you can edit the family tag and rotate the text in there to 45 degrees. Try using the attached tag family for your foundations. You can control the way the text slopes by choosing horizontal or vertical from the drop down box. HTH. Jeff
